Privacy Policy for Yapay

Welcome to the Yapay application. Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and your rights regarding your information.

By using our Application and services, you agree to the terms described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

To provide our services, we collect two types of information:

A. Information you provide directly:

• Registration Data: When you create an account, we collect your username, email address, and a password. The password is always stored in an encrypted form (using bcrypt), and we never have access to it in plain text.
• Employee Information: If you use the employee management feature, we store the names you assign to each one to identify them in the application.

B. Information the Application processes automatically:

• Yape Notification Data: To perform its main function, the Application needs the "Notification Access" permission on your Android device. We use this permission solely and exclusively to read the content of notifications that come from the official Yape application (com.bcp.innovacxion.yapeapp). The information we extract from these notifications is:
  • The name of the payment sender.
  • The payment amount.

Important: The Application does NOT read, collect, or store notifications from any other application (such as WhatsApp, SMS, emails, etc.).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• For the Service to Function: Data from Yape notifications is sent to your private server to be recorded in your Google Sheets spreadsheet and to notify your employees via ntfy.sh. We do not store your transaction details on our servers.
• Account Management: We use your email for account creation, login, and to send you important emails, such as for password recovery.
• Employee Administration: The names of your employees are used so you can identify them and manage their notification permissions within the application.

3. Who We Share Your Information With

Your privacy is our priority. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. Information is only shared with the following third-party services that are essential for the application's operation:

• Google Drive and Google Sheets: To create and update your personal spreadsheet with the payment log. You are the owner of this sheet and control its access. You can review their privacy policy here.
• SendGrid: We use this service to send the password recovery email if you request it. You can review their privacy policy here.
• ntfy.sh: We use this service to send push notifications to your employees' devices. The notifications are sent to the unique and private "topics" that the system generates for you. You can review their privacy policy here.

4. Data Security

We take the security of your data very seriously. We implement the following measures to protect your information:

• Password Encryption: All passwords are stored using the bcrypt hashing algorithm, which makes them extremely difficult to crack.
• Data Isolation: Your transaction data is stored in your own Google Sheet, under your control.
• Communication: Communication between the application and the server is done through the standard HTTP protocol.

However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our records.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can manage your employees' information directly from the administration panel. For any other request, please contact us.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
